Hawley, Peters Request Assessment from GAO on Security Risks & Conflicts of Interest Posed by Consulting Firms Working with China
Today U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Gary Peters (D-Mich.) sent a letter to Government Accountability Office (GAO) Comptroller Gene Dodaro requesting an assessment of the potential national security risks associated with companies simultaneously contracting with the U.S. government and the Chinese government or Chinese state-run enterprises.
